Include all furniture, medical and non-medical equipment, low voltage systems and artwork on a project room contents report; include additional systems as part of the initial requirements planning.

Document additions & deletions as determined based on user meetings, off the inventory performed of the facility and re-use criteria estimates.

Maintain a Current Working Estimate accounting for the estimated equipment costs across all operational areas.

Prepare a rollup cost estimate by department inclusive of all estimated costs affecting the full purchase price such as shipping, insurance, training, warranties, installation, taxes and any other costs affecting the final purchase price.

Tracking of long lead time items that have structural, MEP or other coordination impacts on the Transition Schedule, Procurement Schedule, Training Schedule, and IMS deliverables, in addition to those that have a lengthy supply chain characteristic. Prioritize addressing the validation of long lead time items and items required for early installation before all other items.

Coordinate early installations necessary to facilitate activities such as certification processes, commissioning, and/or balancing of the mechanical system.

Medical equipment, furnishings, and low voltage equipment requiring early installation to be identified, qualified, and quantified during the furniture, furnishings and equipment validation and transition planning processes. Potential areas for early installation include: IT related, radiology, laboratory, and/or operating rooms.
