Provide leadership for all transition management services while providing planning, execution, monitoring and controlling for transition and relocation services.
Development and facilitation of transition team structure and organization with subject matter experts and employees.
Relocation planning that details a strategy for the multitude of tasks, to be executed simultaneously, while coordinating the many activities of operational planning, occupancy planning, space planning, temporary signage, wayfinding and waste management for all transition activities.
Coordination with stakeholders for relocation to every location in the new facility. Utilization of transition relocation manuals for staff education and preparation prior to relocation activities.
Execution of transition actions for scheduling and sequencing transition activities, move preparation and setup; move planning including for potentially hazardous items/systems; orientation and process/workflow workshop planning and implementation; preparation of teaching plans and individual departmental planning handbooks.
Development of a comprhenisve schedule that encompassses the entire Initial Outfitting process.
Create day in the life packets and conduct workshops that describe the new facility and how it’s design supports the intended concept, how the functional area layout facilitates the patient care model, how daily functions will operate post-relocation and how those functions may/may not be different from existing standard operating procedures.
Coordinate commissioning and training on all new equipment, coordinate warranty documentation for all new equipment.
Planning for the decommissioning required on medical equipment that will not be utilized in the new facility.
